The compilation of abstracts of oral and poster presentations at AE2019 is now online. Download the PDF and use ctrl+F to search by name, species, etc
Abstracts of the individual presentations of each session can also be accessed through the EAS Meetings Assistant mobile app that is also updated when changes in the programme occur.

The students will give their presentation on October 8th at 9am during the plenary session. The session will be moderated by Kathrin Steinberg, the EAS Student Group representative.

The EU LIFE AquaPEF project has the aim to promote environmental improvements and aquaculture product sustainability, and will hold a stakeholder Meeting during AE2019 on Thursday, October 10th from 15h to 18h in Room 30541, Wing 3 of the Estrel Hotel.
The meeting will seek stakeholder input on the usefulness of the PEF methodology, impact categories to complement PEF evaluation, case studies and effective communication strategies. See the flyer here and look forward to seeing you in Berlin!

EAS will offer a unique opportunity for entrepreneurs, investors, farmers, supply and service companies and scientists to join a full day programme on Wednesday, October 9th at our Aquaculture Europe 2019 event in Berlin.

During that day, entrepreneurs with new innovative starts up or ideas will be given the opportunity to pitch their business models to an audience representing the global aquaculture sector. This event will offer a unique opportunity to interact with key investors and decision makers in the industry. There will be time for networking and further one to one meetings with interested parties.

AQUAEXCEL2020 is a leading aquaculture research project funded by the European Union Horizon 2020 programme, which integrates leading European aquaculture research facilities and enables them to work together to support the sustainable growth of the aquaculture sector in Europe. The innovative research carried out within the project’s framework is focused on producing industry-applicable outputs and bringing the aquaculture sector in Europe to a new level.
The latest industry-relevant outputs from the project will be presented and discussed at the upcoming AQUAEXCEL2020 industry brokerage event, taking place on the 9th of October 2019 (15:40hrs – 18:00hrs), as part of the EU EATiP Day at the Aquaculture Europe 2019 conference in Berlin.
