Each year, EAS organises the Aquaculture Europe (AE) event. AE is the main aquaculture conference and trade show in Europe with high and broad attendance to facilitate knowledge exchange amongst scientists, industry professionals and policymakers in the sector. The locations are approved by the EAS Board following a call for bids to our members to host the event in their country.
EAS members have significant reduction on our event registration fees and can access the abstracts of all our past events.
And every 6 years, EAS co-organises the AQUA events with the World Aquaculture Society (WAS). AQUA events were held in Nice (2000), Florence (2006), Prague (2012), Montpellier (2018) and Copenhagen (2024).
