Vienna, Austria – September 18-21, 2023.
Annual meeting organised by the European Aquaculture Society. Theme: "Balanced Diversity in Aquaculture Development"
Vienna, arguably Europe's cultural capital, is a city with unique charm, vibrancy and flair. From medieval alleyways to imperial squares, view the Schönbrunn Palace or the Imperial Palace (Hofburg) in the footsteps of Sissi and Emperor Franz Josef, and the majestic architecture along the Ring Boulevard. Vienna is not an aquaculture capital, but we all know “The Blue Danube” by Johan Strauss I
AE2023 will take place at the Messe Wien Exhibition and Congress Center – a modern, high capacity venue in the city and easily accessible by the Vienna Metro (U-Bahn) system.
As part of AE2023, EAS will organise the second RAS@EAS event, a one-day workshop.
The AE event is a focal point for meetings of European associations, satellite workshops of EU projects and other events.
